Donate
Donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a letter with the necessary tax-exempt information.
We are always grateful to receive contributions for our incentive programs. They are all geared toward improving the health and well-being of our community. If you are interested in donating to our market and click on the link, you will be directed to our non-profit fiscal sponsor, Horizon’s Lifestyle and Education Team. They have a donor page and you just have to indicate that you are interested in donating to the Donnelly Farmers Market Initiative, once you go to checkout.
Donnelly Farmers Market is more than just a farmers market. DFM offers several incentive programs to all attending as well as providing fresh produce and whole foods to local food pantries. These special programs are funded by grants, sponsorships, and individual donations. Specific thanks go to St. Luke’s McCall, The City of Donnelly, Kelly’s Whitewater Park, Idaho Power, Perpetua Resources, Payette Lake Progressive Club, Flight Of Fancy, Brundage Realty, Idaho Farmers Market Association, and numerous individuals.
BuyBack for Local Food Pantries
The Market buys back fresh produce and other whole foods from its vendors and donates to the two local food pantries; Donnelly Food Pantry weekly, and Cascade Food Pantry monthly.
Produce Reward Cards (Purple Punch Cards)
Offers discount coupons and rewards for multiple produce purchases throughout the Market season. A 10-punch card gives an incentive to customers to purchase a variety of produce and return regularly (creating a healthy habit). Once completed, the card is redeemed for five $1 off coupons towards the purchase of more produce.
VeggieMights
Provides free fruit to every child attending the Market each week, and fresh fruit to summer school, library programs and special kids’ events at the Market. In addition, the Donnelly Farmers’ Market gives to the Donnelly Elementary School weekly when school is in session starting in September.
Double UP Food Bucks (Food Stamp Bonus)
Bonus tokens up to $20 for Snap/EBT Card users. DFM is the only area farmers market that accepts the Snap/EBT Card (Food Stamps) in a 100-mile radius. When someone uses their EBT card at the Market, DFM will add an additional $20 in tokens to be used for produce! This helps people with limited finances maximize their food budget.
Kelly’s Greens (Family Incentive Program)
Offers discount coupons on produce to children and families and encourages summer school, after-school, and library kids’ programs to visit and learn about the healthy foods at the Market. Kids learn how and what the farmers grow.
Grayt Perks (Seniors Program)
Sign-up program that provides local seniors 60+ with coupons to purchase fresh produce and whole foods. It also offers greater access to enhanced mental activities and reduced social isolation, by connecting local seniors with non-profits looking for volunteers.
Club Ed (Children Incentive Program)
Offers discount coupons to children when they participate in an educational or physical fitness event at the Market.
